Watson Training Fitness offers Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and Kickboxing training focused on improving fitness, building confidence, and developing real martial arts skills in a safe and supportive environment.
Training is available for beginners and experienced students looking to stay active, learn self-defense, or challenge themselves through martial arts.
About James Watson
​
James Watson has been training in martial arts for nearly 20 years.
Started kickboxing in 2006, In 2010, opened Fitness Kickboxing Fergus and coached students there until the studio closed in 2017. Continued coaching off and on at CW Martial Arts Academy until 2025.
Began training Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu in 2012 and earned the BJJ black belt in 2022, receiving first degree in 2025.

Philosophy is simple: consistency matters more than intensity.
Progress in martial arts comes from showing up regularly, training safely, and improving step by step over time. The goal is to help students build strength, confidence, and skills while maintaining a sustainable approach to training.
