Take Everything In — Let Go of What Doesn’t Work

When you train, you’ll hear a lot of instruction.Different cues.Different details.Different perspectives.
Take it all in.
But don’t hold onto everything.
Not Every Detail Will Fit You
Bodies are different.Timing is different.Experience is different.
What works perfectly for one person may not work the same way for another — and that’s okay.
Learning is about filtering, not collecting.
Absorb First, Edit Later
Early on, your job isn’t to judge — it’s to listen, try, and feel.
Test the technique.Apply the detail.Notice the result.
Over time, you’ll learn what stays and what goes.
Let Go Without Ego
Letting go doesn’t mean rejecting the lesson. It means respecting your process.
Keep what helps you move better, breathe easier, and stay efficient. Release what creates tension, confusion, or force.
That’s refinement.
This Is How Technique Becomes Yours
A technique isn’t truly learned until it fits you.
When you stop trying to copy and start adapting, movement becomes natural and confidence follows.
Final Thought
At Watson Training Fitness, we encourage exploration.
Take everything in.Test it honestly.Let go of what doesn’t serve you.
What remains is your technique — and that’s where real progress begins.
