Things You’ll Hear When You Train With Me

If you train with me long enough, you’ll start to hear the same phrases.

Not because I like repeating myself —but because the basics matter.

Here are a few you’ll hear often.

“Can’t” Stands for Certainly Are Not Trying

Most of the time, “I can’t” really means “this feels uncomfortable.”

New movement feels awkward. Timing feels off.You get stuck.

Before we decide something is impossible, we make sure we’re actually trying.

Effort first. Then we evaluate.

Practice Makes Progress

Not perfect.

Progress.

Perfect is unrealistic. Progress is measurable.

One small improvement. One cleaner rep. One better decision under pressure.

That’s enough.

“Just Rep It 10,000 More Times”

There’s no secret shortcut.

You want smoother technique? More confidence?Better timing?

Reps.

Not flashy reps. Not ego reps.

Clean, consistent repetition.

That’s how Nobody Jiu-Jitsu works. Quiet improvement over time.

“What Do I Know?”

You’ll hear this too.

Because I’m learning as well.

Every day I refine something. Every day I adjust something.

What I tell you today might evolve tomorrow. That’s not inconsistency — that’s growth.

“Forgive Me, I Hit My Head a Lot”

A little humor helps.

Training should be serious about safety —but not serious about ourselves.

We’re here to move, learn, and enjoy the process.

Nobody Jiu-Jitsu. Nobody Kickboxing.

No hype. No chasing status. No pretending to know everything.

Just work.

Just reps. Just progress.

If you’re looking for perfection, this isn’t it.

If you’re looking for honest effort and steady growth — you’ll fit right in.

Final Thought

When you train with me, you’ll hear these phrases.

Not because they sound good —but because they’re true.

Keep trying.Keep repping.Keep progressing.

Nobody Jiu-Jitsu isn’t about being seen. It’s about being honest with the work.
